The Opium Gazer is made of copper, bronze and blown glass. I found the hawk legs while walking across the country in 2006. I made molds of them when I returned to my studio and now can cast them in bronze. The poppy on top of the Opium Gazer is an opium poppy pod grown out in the garden and then cast in bronze. Baby Boiler, or, Runt! What more is there to say? Fabricated copper, cast bronze hawk feet and blown glass.
